Climates Micro Grants Pilot Round Now Open

Climates’ Micro Grants Pilot round is now open (as of May 31)!

Pacific-based climate change or environmental NGOs, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), individuals and grassroots groups have until June 28, 2021 to apply!

Do you have a project, initiative, training or operational capacity that needs funding? *Click here to start your application

Climates’ Micro Grants seek to fund projects which support climate resilience or capability building, and/or provide co-funding for climate-based projects or initiatives which need additional funds. Applications must relate to climate change and should also be environmentally sustainable.

Climate justice is a core principle of our work. We want to support initiatives that are inclusive with regard to gender, age, race, disability and class. Applications that support inclusivity will be favoured.

Grants of up to $1,000 (AUD) are available to individuals and small organisations (annual income of less than $200,000). In this pilot round, Climates has seven (7) $1,000 grants available. Only one grant will be available per successful applicant/organisation.

Climates’ priority is to decolonise how climate finance is provided to frontline groups and communities in the Pacific. Therefore, our Micro Grants Programme seeks to ensure a short and easy application process which does NOT require difficult reporting requirements like many other grants do.

Please read all about the Climates Micro Grants Programme and your eligibility (here) before applying within the next four weeks! And our offline application form (here)
